Main Activities of the 10th Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium and the 7th China International Consumer Goods Fair

      The main activities of the 10th Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium and the 7th China International Consumer Goods Fair consist of 5 sections as Zhejiang open economic achievements & 10-year ZJITS review exhibition, investment matching sessions, import & export goods exhibition and trade, opening-up & development international forum, and talents & technology introduction.

       Ι) Zhejiang Open Economic Achievements & 10-year ZJITS Review Exhibition.
      This exhibition is arranged in main exhibition hall of Ningbo International Convention & Exhibition Center. The major exhibition is situated on the 1st Floor, surrounded by 11 cities (of Zhejiang) open economic achievements exhibition and investment talk area. The 10-year ZJITS Review Exhibition is situated on the 2nd Floor.

      II) Investment Matching Sessions.
      It will hold a series of special investment matching sessions called “Invest in Zhejiang”, focusing on modern manufacturing, modern service, high technology, industry chain projects, as well as global flagship enterprises. It also aims at promoting private enterprises’ cooperation with global strategic capital, carrying on project packaging, promotion and matching sessions. One signing ceremony of Zhejiang province on big projects will be arranged. Besides, each city participating will organize activities according to its practical condition, such as project promotion session, investment environment presentation, project signing ceremony, work-starting ceremony, and guests inspection.
      One of the highlights is the set of International Hall. It is the first time to set up the “talk area of domestic enterprises for their overseas economic cooperation”. International friendship cities of Zhejiang, foreign governments and government agencies, and foreign investment promotion organizations will be invited to the talk to have matching sessions with Zhejiang enterprises wishing to “go global”. Besides, special promotion sessions will be arranged focusing on some foreign countries’ investment environment, as well as on China’s overseas economic & trade cooperation zone.

      III) Import & Export Goods Exhibition and Trade.
      The Fair will arrange 4000 standard booths, including 6 exhibition sections of home textile and garments, electronics and household electronic appliance, office stationery and furniture, daily goods, decoration and gifts, and food. Meanwhile it will hold 1 or 2 international purchase presentations and foreign trade projects matching sessions. The Fair is based on Zhejiang, faces the nation for famous enterprises, name brands and novel products, and invites renowned international purchasers and suppliers. Besides, “Fair on Net” is set.

      IV) Opening-up & Development International Forum.
      According to the new characteristics and situation of Zhejiang’s social development and opening-up, centering on such topics as Zhejiang’s opening-up, it will launch several forums on special subjects, such as “logistics and free port” and “China’s opening-up”.

      V) Talents & Technology Introduction.
      This section will carry on exchanges and discussions on the introduction of overseas talents and technological results with domestic and overseas research institutes and institutions of higher learning. On the occasion the 10th Zhejiang Overseas Talents Symposium and the 6th Zhejiang (Ningbo) Technological Results Fair will be launched.
